Nisha Anand is a grassroots fundraising specialist with over 14 years of experience working with nonprofits and social justice organizations. Nisha’s experience includes being the Director of Development for The Ruckus Society, a national direct action training organization, and for San Francisco Women Against Rape, a women of color led rape crisis center. Although Nisha has worked in every area of fundraising, she has a passion for planning fundraising campaigns and annual strategies, training staff, board and volunteers, and coaching and mentoring both new and veteran fundraisers.

Nisha helped us envision our fundraising program from scratch. Ten years later, we can proudly say we are 100% community funded and, more importantly, we have also seen our mission grow with every singly dollar we raise. Nisha taught us that the best fundraising programs are mission driven and supported by the community we seek to transform.
